Plot:
Vinodh(Dhanush), who has grown up under the care of a church father( Nagesh ), is an introvert but a genius. He is forcibly sent to college by the father but is a complete misfit in class. Though shunned by the rest of his class, Divya(Sonia) becomes his friend and he gradually warms up to her too. His feelings soon turn into love but he realises that Divya considers him as only a friend. But he is unwilling to let her go and takes the necessary actions to make her be with him.

Plot:
The movie begins with Dhanush, in prison for a murder charge, narrating his flashback. He along with his father Pyramid Natarajan leads a happy life where the two smokes and drinks together. Dhanush even encourages his friends to go to prostitute houses and spends time himself teasing young girls.Following a challenge with his friends, he befriends a rich girl (Parul) and he pleases her and shares bed with her. The girl apparently loves to booze and watch porno films much against her father's wishes.Dhaunsh's life undergoes a change when he meets a Brahmin girl (Diya). Both fall in love and Dhanush begins to concentrate on his career slowly. Unfortunately a college trip ends in distress for him as he shares bed with Parul.Coming to know about this Dhiya commits suicide and the blame falls on Dhanush.The rest is all about how Dhanush manages to escape from infamy.

Plot:
Babu, a tea vendor (Dhanush), comes across Uma (Sridvei), a rich college student and falls in love with her immediately. His friends Kaduppu Subramani (Karunaas), an auto-driver, Mayil (Mayilsamy) (a college student) and Goutham (Sathyan) too love her. They give up their love upon realising that Uma too reciprocates Babu's love after admiring his honesty and simplicity. Meanwhile Uma falls sick and gets admitted to a hospital. A doctor in the hospital where she is admitted, Bala (Kunal), falls for her cute looks and simple beauty. Bala wants to marry her and approaches Uma's parents. Upon her parent's approval, Uma realizes that she can lead a happy and contended life only if she marries the doctor and gives a go ahead for her wedding. Babu, meanwhile, is crestfallen at the news and hence attempts suicide. But it fails and he is arrested and produced before the court where he blames Uma for his extreme decision. The rest is all about Uma being summoned to court over the issue. Whether she admits her love and comes back to Babu's hands or not forms the climax.

Review:
The movie is all about Srinivasan (Dhanush), a 22-year-old youth, who escapes from prison. He takes a lorry to go to a remote village in Ooty. On the way, he narrates his past to the lorry driver, who shows sympathy on him.Srinivasan leads a carefree life till he comes across the servant maid Thulasi (Priya Mani). When his parents (Delhi Ganesh and Usha) go to a relative's place for a week, Srinivasan gets an opportunity to spend some time with Thulasi in his house and gets acquainted with her.After a series of events, love blossoms between the two. Coming to know about their affair, Srinivasan's father naturally does not accept the liaison.One day, Srinivasan and his friends land up in prison for crashing their car on a police vehicle. Unfortunately Srinivasan locks horns with an inmate in jail and when he pushes him in a fit of rage, he sustains a serious head injury and succumbs to it.Eventually Srinivasan gets convicted for 10-year-rigorous imprisonment. His mother dies; Thulasi's family goes bankrupt and leaves to their native village in Ooty.A dejected Srinivasan escapes from prison to meet Thulasi. Does the two join together forms the rest of the story.

Plot:
Vasu (Dhanush) is an unsophisticated suburban lad with average intelligence and an easy attitude. He does not care about acquiring prestigious degrees and is too relaxed to hunt for jobs. His current business is merry-making which he does well with a gang of his friends. Easily misled and completely irresponsible, his parents dismiss him as worthless. Then Vasu gets a job offer and meets a girl at a bus stop. Next day, when he appears for the job, Vasu is pleasantly surprised to find the same girl Keerthi (Nayantara) as his associate. Vasu feels happy and blessed. He is in bliss in every moment of her company, basking in the goodness of her presence.

Soon, the crew leaves for a day's picnic to a place close by. There, Vasu expresses his love for Keerthi and masking his niggling fear of failure, proposes to her. Vasu learns that Keerthi is already engaged to one of her cousins. With a broken heart, he withdraws from Keerthi's life. Meanwhile Vasu's father comes to know about his son's predicament and the caring elder appeals to Keerthi for his troubled son. However, an irate and inconsiderate Keerthi abruptly dismisses his explanations and literally throws him out of her house. Shattered, the old man succumbs to a massive heart attack.

Depressed and deprived of close connections, Vasu goes to his friend's ( Karthik) wedding arranged in a village. To his surprise and dismay, he finds Keerthi is the bride. Suddenly, Vasu gets a second chance to revive his love affair. How did he undo the marital arrangement? How did he convince the whole family including Keerthi and initiate them to accept him as the groom? What finally made them accept Vasu as the suitable groom for the gorgeous, better-educated and classy Keerthi? Well, watch YNM and you will also be convinced with the progress of events in the story.

Dhanush completely wins us over with his little-boy gullibility. Naughty, notorious, witty and bitchy, with his self-created arbitrary rules, he effortlessly steals the audiences' affection and support. Therefore, when this boy-next door falls in love, fails in love and is depressed by the failure, our hearts easily melt. Similarly, when he is offered a second chance, he certainly makes us sit up with a renewed enthusiasm.

Plot:
Radhakrishnan (Dhanush) alias Rocky is an 10th fail youngster who is looked down upon by his father (Pratap Pothen), as the rest of the family of brothers, sister and sister's-in-law consists of all educated and well placed people. Our hero's main job is to idle away his time in a mechanic shop with his group of friends (Mayilsami, Nellai Siva and others). 'Padikathavan and 10th failed' as his father refers to him, doubles up as a petty goon when his family members are in trouble.One of his friends suggest that he falls in love with a highly educated girl, so earnestly he looks around by hovering around women's colleges. So he falls in love with Gayathri (Tamaannah) a rich girl who after a few misunderstandings and dream songs falls for him.Meanwhile there are some goons after her, as her father is Samarasinga Reddy (Suman) a deadly don in Andhra. Our hero saves her from her dad's rival (Sayaji Shinde) and follows to her home in Hyderabad, where he realizes that another Tirunelveli goon Kasi Anandan (Atul Kulkarni) has put a prize on his head!
