Plot:

It about the sordid life forced upon two youngsters from a remote south Tamil Nadu village who are brought to Chennai city to work as counter sales people in swanky textile malls of Ranganathan Street and exploited by their employers. Mahesh who is a plus two topper is forced by the circumstances to take up a sales man job in a mall in Chennai. Anjali is also employed at the same shop. Plot:

The film begins at a journey in train where Paari (Jeeva) looks back at everything. Cut! the story goes to one remote village in Ramanathapuram. Paari is a do-gooder who helps everyone in need. A magnanimous man, he gives anything and everything to others if they ask for, apt to his name.

Plot:

The movie starts off in Bangalore, with Karthi (Shiva) who lives with his friends who try to get him a job desperately. Karthi is a guy who is easy on life and has a ‘thennavatu’ attitude On one such occasion of a job hunt, Karthi spots Tamannah (Charulatha) while getting down the bus and falls for her instantly.

The hero goes to the railway station to pick a friend who owns a car that Karthi and his friends drive. While waiting for his friend to arrive, Karthi sees the terribly tensed Tamannah with her uncle, who mistake Karthi to be a cab driver and ask him to drop them at Chennai.

Accepting the travel, Karthi takes off in the black Mitsubishi Lancer along with his guests. When they pause for refueling, Tamannah asks Karthi to buzz off leaving her uncle behind. From here starts the real road trip of 'Paiyya' in full throttle.

On Tamannah's request, Karthi sets off to Mumbai, and with a fight scene on their way, Karthi reveals his connection with Mumbai. He goes in to rewind mode and reminds himself of the villain (Milind Soman).

On their journey, they encounter people, new locations and the hero and heroine get along well. The car is their home as long as the journey happens.

Plot:

Plot:

Plot:
'Sura' is a story that is set in Yaazh Nagar, a fishermen hamlet in coastal Tamil Nadu. The name of the place has a lot of political significance with the recent political turmoil over the ethnic strife in the neighbouring Sri Lanka. Sura (Vijay) is born and brought up here and he is obviously the darling of the masses in the area.

He, in the company of his friend (Vadivelu), who is another fisher folk, brings the roof down in laughter. Their one-liners are hilarious. Meanwhile, our hero comes across young bubbly Poornima (Tamannah) who chooses to end her life unable to cope with the death of her pet dog.

Slowly, as expected she gets attracted towards Sura thanks to his good deeds. Finally romance blossoms between them. Plot:

Plot:
Yogi (Ameer) is a man who keeps to himself. Born and brought up in Chennai slum, he along with his friends thrives of theft, robbery and occasional murders. Yogi is a youth nut to crack. He had a bad past and keeps it to himself. Yogi and his friends decide to rob a restaurant one night. When they finish their job, they are chased by a cop. Yogi manages to flee in a car. After giving a slip to cops, he gets shock of his life. He spots a baby in the back seat of the car. The human being in Yogi wakes up. He leaves the car and takes the baby with him to his house. He is slowly transformed.

Yogi comes across Raja Sulochana (Madhumita), a young mother who is deserted by her lover after giving her a baby. Yogi convinces her to breast feed the baby.

Sequence of events reveals that the baby's mother real mother Caroline (Swathi) is desperate to get her child back while her husband Linden (Vincent Asokan), who married her knowing well that the baby is not his, decides to fins the baby and kill it.

Meanwhile a flashback reveals Yogi's past. Thanks to his father (Devaraj) a beggar, he has had a terrible childhood. His mother ending her life and sister beaten to death by his father on front of his eyes. Though Yogi develops a bond with the child, he decides to leave it to its original parents. But fate has other plans. Yogi eventually loses his life only after reuniting the baby with her mother. The cops close in on Yogi as he decides to give the child back to its parents, leading to a climax twist.

Plot:
Sakthivel is the son of a rich entrepreneur who is dejected at life and decides to go nowhere. A man with few words, he boards a train only to meet Anjali, who is straight opposite to him. Plot:

Review:
One might argue that even the first part too looked pretty much like a glamour parade. But, there was also the plot of the police being on the trail of this serial womanizer, his eventual arrest and an interesting courtroom battle where the accused becomes the acquitted through continuous denial and careful arguments. This element goes missing here. The law is not after him. The women who have been subject to his treachery do try to get back at him together, but it is too weak and too late in the movie to salvage lost interest. It is a timid sort of a response to a huge fraud that has been committed and is snuffed out pretty nonchalantly by the criminal; does not make for engaging viewing at all. It is as if the Casanova is walking from room to room through doors that open at a click; the women fall so easily into his trap. He moves from one woman to the next, easily accomplishes his mission and takes away a huge amount of money. It is like different episodes of the Casanova’s exploits being put together. The only connecting subplot comes in the form of Sangeetha’s character that plays a handicapped immigrant Sri Lankan widow. She is facing a tough situation regarding the custody of her only child. She needs money to settle the issue and surprisingly our Casanova comes to her aid, giving her the required amount which of course has been aggregated from his games with many innocent women. The climax too is on expected lines. He easily evades the efforts of the wronged women to corner him and escapes to some distant place where he is ready to begin his games afresh. The means that another sequel is on the minds of the makers!
